Francis Moran, Ph.D.

Dr. Moran teaches courses primarily in political philosophy and American Government. His research on the intersection of political philosophy and natural history has been presented at numerous state, regional, national, and international meetings and has been published in such journals as the The Review of Politics, The Journal of the History of Ideas, and Politics and the Life Sciences. He is an active member of the Association for Politics and the Life Sciences, the Caucus for a New Political Science, and the Pennsylvania Political Science Association. He also assists Dr. Bruce Chadwick of the NJCU English Department in conducting public opinion polls of Hudson County residents for the Jersey Journal. Dr. Moran lives in the wilds of rural Pennsylvania with his wife, daughter, and two maniacal cats.
