This link takes you
to the band's semi official website. It 's a treasure trove
of info on the band, and tons of other links, plus a message
board. If you are in NYC, you owe it to your children and your
children's children to see these guys play live, preferably
in some pub. They were amazin' at their regular gigs at
Paddy Reilly's... haven't seen 'em since they moved over to
Connolly's but I trust all is well. These guys aren't as punky as the Pogues nor as political
as Black 47, but I still find them irresistible. On disc
they can sometimes come across a bit too poppy for my
tastes, but they put on a great live set. Another fave. Boston-based oi/punk with a celtic tinge -
they do blistering versions of O'Donnell Oroo, Finnegan's
Wake, and Amazing Grace (!) Another fine hard rockin' celtic outfit, based out of
LaLa Land. Great live act and the studio output is
solid.
