This
page is here to help you produce NJCU-related websites that adhere to
the current University standards.

WEBSITE REQUEST FORM
(Student Organization, Academic Site, Administration Site, Sponsored Sites,
Student Site) Request your website to be hosted by NJCU.

This Macromedia
Dreamweaver template will help you create standardized websites with much
of the navigational links and function coding already coded for you. The
examples are empty pages that you can download and fill with your own
specific content and code. (see
sample of template)
A readme.txt file is included with the
.Zip file that includes complete instructions for deploying a website
using the NJCU ITS template files included in this package.

A disclaimer MUST
be displayed in italics on the home page of all web sites. All subsequent
pagesdepartmental, instructional, or personalmust include
a link to the disclaimer in bold face. Please see the Website Policy document
for the correct wording of the disclaimer for your specific page.
LOGOS
To download the
New Jersey City University logo version of your choice:
Macintosh: click, hold, and drag the logo to your desktop. Or click
and hold and respond to pop-up menu as to what to do with logo image.
PC: right click on the image and respond to the prompt to save
the image on your hard drive.

COLORS
The traditional colors of NJCU are green and gold, represented in print
by Pantone [TM] or PMS [TM] (Pantone Matching System) colors. The closest
hexadecimal color equivalents are shown below.
Green: PMS 561=07574C
Gold: PMS 129=CC9900
A palette of additional ink colors are
used in NJCU print publications. You may wish to include one or more of
these additional colors in your web page to help project a consistent
image.
Red: PMS 703=CC3333
Blue: PMS 659=6699CC
Violet: PMS 2577=9966CC
Orange: PMS 718=CC6600
FONTS
Graphically, consistent use of fonts goes a long way in projecting a unified
institutional image. Futura is used in printed publications for
NJCU and is recommended for headlines; Georgia is recommended for body copy in multimedia
and web publications. An alternate choice is to use Helvetica for
headlines and Times for body copy.

These applications are helpful to have installed on your hard drive to
assist in the viewing of PDF documents, and any attached multimedia files
that are compressed and linked to web pages or email:

application at NJCU.

your website, please browse and use professional quality images from our
Image Library.

With different platforms and internet browsers, you will find sometimes
