Course
Description
Learn the basics of Microsoft Outlook XP in a relaxed, stress-free
classroom environment. This course is designed for students with
some basic skills in the use of a computer and computer programs.
No textbook is required, but you must own a copy of Outlook 2000
or 2002 (the XP version) to get the most from this course. (see
pre-requisites,
below) Students will learn the basics of the most
commonly used Outlook modules and the most efficient methods for
using them. In addition, the course will provide folder organization,
maintenance and usage tips that will keep Outlook performing at
its best.

About
the Instructor
Mr. Velasco is a graduate of Jersey City State College and is
currently an Assistant Director in the Office of Information Technology
Services at NJCU. He is also an Adjunct Instructor at NJCU since
1990, teaching Microsoft Office courses through the Computer Science
Department. Taking a brief hiatus from adjunct work, Mr. Velasco
is currently pursuing a masters degree in Educational Technology
at NJCU.
